From start to finish it’s been a busy year in the global ‘aHUS space’ yet before we say hello to 2026 issued our December 2025 edition of The aHUS Global Advocate newsletter.
All this year we’ve provided information and insights into everything dealing with the rare disease atypical HUS, with our original content that included our patient decision treatment model for discontinuation and horizon scanning toward improving patient outcomes with clinical child development and improved nomenclature. We’ve highlighted global news such as India’s progress toward drug access and aHUS treatment options. as well as the new Canadian expert center for complement mediated rare diseases.
Our aHUS ‘virtual library’ added over 100 new publications in 2025, with journal articles and research organized by topic. Many advancements have been made over this past year to aid better understanding of atypical HUS, but it’s hard to keep track of publications and news releases tagged with a wide variety of key terms such as ‘primary TMA’ or ‘complement mediated disease’. So….Where can you get aHUS news that’s independent, objective, and focused on what’s important to the atypical HUS community? Here! Our free The aHUS Global Advocate newsletter has just arrived to subscriber’s inboxes – and continues to be a trusted source of atypical HUS ‘News You Can Use’ for families and advocates, as well as stakeholders interested in aHUS treatment and research.
