The search for more known neighbours in Global aHUS Town began this summer.
At the start there were 59 countries where at least one aHUS patient was known to make up what was to be called Global aHUS Town.
A town where potentially at least 27000 aHUS live around the world together with their families in 233 countries.
Probably 188 with enough population for there to be at one aHUS patient.
Since then 4 new neighbours have now moved in – Nepal, Tunisia, Ireland and Iceland.
But still twice as many countries to find than the third already found.
So the challenge for everyone is to find these.
This is a supra organisations challenge. Lets start with the two lists of countries as shown below. These are the first 30 countries in alphabetical order with which there is no known connected reach.
All could have at least one aHUS patient and altogether they could have up to 1500 patients.

Do you know if there are aHUS patients in any these countries? And have the evidence to support your discovery.
Then let us know.
